Be the Best Version of Yourself, TODAY.
As a Coach, I understand the importance of focusing on “the whole person” when collaborating with clients. It isn’t my role to tell them what to do or question their choices. I help identify who they are at their absolute best and then design steps to move forward to a fulfilling career and happy life!
Making any change begins with believing you can do it, then being consistent in taking steps to make it happen. I recently listened to two podcasts (info below) on related topics about how to improve energy, brain health and positive mindset, so sharing some highlights from each.
· Start each day by saying, “Today is going to be a great day,” and believe it.
· When making choices ask yourself, “Is my decision good or bad for me and those who matter to me?”
· Improve your mood by surrounding yourself with bright light in the morning.
· Reduce stress by using the exercise “The 15 Second Breath,” taking twice as long to breathe out than in:
- Breathe in for 4 seconds (hold it for a second and a half)
- Breathe out for 8 seconds (hold it for a second and a half)
· Exercise every day. Walking improves heart health, balance, and strengthens bones and muscles.
· Meditate daily. If you aren’t into meditation, try “The 15 Second Breath” exercise mentioned above!
If you could live a better life as the best version of yourself, would you take steps to do it? Everyone is wonderfully unique and there's no "right" way to do things, but I’ve found that by creating a vision of your future self, beginning by making small shifts and recommitting every day, works. I know, that may sound like a lot to take on, but you have grit, and you aren't alone. Reach out to me to learn how!
